Prelaunch!
Frankenstein the Unconquered and Depths return!
Hello friends,
We’re starting prelaunch for two projects, one launching in early September, the other in October, and we need as many people to sign up for both as possible. Both have early bird incentives, so the people who pledge at launch will get 20% off!
The first I’m sure you’re all familiar with, but for the uninitiated: Frankenstein the Unconquered is an action/horror comic about the titular monster thawing from the arctic ice 500 years after the original novel to discover a bombed out post apocalyptic world where he can thrive. It’s Conan the Barbarian with Halloween movie monsters and it’s our most successful series so far!
Issues 3 and 4 are coming to Kickstarter September 5th and will feature cover art from Chris Shehan, Heather Vaughan, Flops, Kara Huset, and Fernando Pinto.
Depths is a book you may remember from earlier this year, a 112 page graphic novel about a 1930s engineer that gets trapped underwater for three years in a perpetual diving suit of his own design. It’s a deeply personal story about survival, grief, depression, and friendship—think The Martian meets 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
We’re relaunching Depths with Zoop, the boutique, comics-only crowdfunding site, with art from J. Schiek, Heather Vaughan, and Serg Acuna. It will launch sometime in mid-to-late October.
That’s all for now!
